The PEI Symphony Orchestra Welcomes our new Administrator

The Prince Edward Island Symphony Orchestra is pleased to announce the appointment of Natalie Williams Calhoun as its new Administrator.

A native of British Columbia, Ms. Williams Calhoun has a Bachelor of Music in Violoncello Performance from the University of British Columbia and a Masters of Music from the Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester, England.

Prior to moving to Prince Edward Island, Ms. Williams Calhoun lived in southern Ontario and worked with the National Ballet of Canada Orchestra, the Kitchener-Waterloo Symphony and the Brantford Symphony Orchestra.

A member of the Registered Music Teachers’ Association of Prince Edward Island, she enjoys working with musical youth.  She has conducted the Junior Division of the Brantford Youth Orchestra, was co-conductor of the  Brant Youth Symphony Orchestra and currently works with the Senior Division of the Singing Strings Orchestra in Charlottetown.

In additional to taking over PEISO Adminstrator duties, Ms. Williams Calhoun currently freelances with Symphony Nova Scotia, the Charlottetown Festival Orchestra and the Prince Edward Island Symphony.  She has recently joined with flautist Morgan Saulnier and pianist Frances Gray to create “Takes Three to Triango”.
